I got these to replace old rubber cords which had begun to flake. These are so much nicer! The fabric cover really makes a difference to the comfort of them moving over your skin during some exercises. The handles are set at an angle and I noticed quickly that if you assign a left and right side, it makes them much easier to handle. Only complaint is that the resistance is a little bit light, I guess I should have bought the heaviest version instead of the med/heavy.
