Nice set of weights that had the optimum plate variety for me at a good price.The rubber coating is very nice - keeps the plates from clanging around and makes them a bit easier to handle.I must say, however, that after unpacking them and putting them in my weight tree it took several days for the prominent smell (which I assume to be the rubber coating) to dissipate out of my basement - it was pretty unpleasant for a few days and hard to ignore -gave me a bit of a headache.You may consider unpacking these in the garage and letting them air out for a few days before bringing them in the house if that's an option for you.Other than that I'm very happy with them.
