I hate to disparage anyone's publishing effort, but this was a disappointing purchase for me. The words "field hockey" appear on the cover and on the first few pages, otherwise all you've got is a concise (or sketchy, depending on how you look at it) primer onstandard bodybuilding exercises, complete with a young male bodybuilder demonstrating them in the photos. This same generic material is likely between the covers of all the weight-training books in this series. I saw nothing in here that I haven't seen in scores of far more voluminous bodybuilding books, but nothing suggesting any specific applicability to field hockey, or for that matter any sport. They call strength-training for a sport "functional training" nowadays, and if this is what you're looking for, you'll find it thoroughly addressed in books by the likes of Mark Verstegen and Michael Boyle.Click Here to see more reviews about: The Ultimate Guide to Weight Training for Field Hockey
