Valeo Bar Pad Review

I use a Troy Lite barbell, which is a smaller barbell system designed for women, and this works great with it!For several years, I'd just been using an extra handtowel around my barbell when doing squats, etc., and I just wish I had spent the money to get this years ago! It really makes a huge difference in your comfort level because of the nice gel padding inside it.

As another reviewer mentioned, you do just have to be sure that the velcro closure strip isn't on your back when you lift your barbell onto your back, or the pad will separate/come open while you're working out.However, it's very simple to just rotate it so that it's on the top as you place the barbell over your shoulders.

Highly recommended if you have the right size barbell!
